A friendly reminder to all of our Medicare Advantage Plan partners and peers regarding key Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) deadlines that are forthcoming in June:

June 1, 2019:  CMS opens HPMS for submission of CY2020 marketing materials in the Marketing Module for review.

June 3, 2019: Deadline for CY2020 bids including service area verification for all MA/MAPD/PDP and cost-based plans. This date also serves as the deadline for submission of formularies, and prior authorization/step therapy attestations.

June 2019: Throughout the month of June, CMS conducts Network Adequacy Reviews. This is critical for start-ups and expansion plans. Your provider network must be in place!
